Asher is four years old and participates in a martial arts class for three to six-year-olds. In order to receive their next belt, the children have to perform their “forms” correctly with the help of the instructor and/or a student leader. Asher went ahead and memorized the form and performed it by himself from memory in front of all his classmates, the instructors, and the parents. Now, only a couple weeks later, he already has over half of the next form memorized. He hopes to become a black belt and a student leader someday.
