Lincoln Butters’ Hero’s Journey

Lincoln, 10, participated in the spring semester of GHF Online’s Harry Potter and the Hero’s Journey class taught by Allison Stieger. He really enjoyed stepping through each book to examine how the hero’s journey could be applied, as well as how mythology influenced the stories. His semester-end project was to apply the hero’s journey to his own life. Lincoln chose to share his journey from the “ordinary world” of attending school and “crossing the threshold” to the extraordinary world of homeschooling.
